Product Specifications
The product consists of a temperature probe, IEEE 802.11 (Wi-Fi) based sensor electronics, database collecting the data, web based data display and alerting/alarming system using emails and cell phone alerts. Some details of the components are given below.

Temperature probe: Size – 1”x0.25”; Tethered or untethered from the sensor electronics; Range – is variable typical values -45°C to 85°C; Accuracy – Range dependent, typical value of 1C
Data Communication System: Size – 2 AA batteries; runs on a single Li AA battery; Expected life atleast 4 years with measurments every minute. Uses a low power WiFi system to transmit the temperature data. If the facility (such as a hospital) has WiFi network in place the sensor will directly transmit the temperature readings to the WiFi access point; On board memory for atleast 1 full day of sampling at 1/min.
Data Visualization & Reporting: Temperature data saved in a database and displayed on a web based portal; data can be monitored live remotely using a browser (i.e. from anywhere); graphical display with several reporting features
Alerting System: Email or cell phone alerts can be provided when temperature crosses set threshold values
